Project Coordinator Manager
Lead a collaborative Project Coordination team at KOMPAN: streamline workflows, mentor talent, and deliver on-time, on-budget playground projects with quality and care.
Reporting to the VP of Operations, we are seeking a highly organized and people-focused Manager of Project Coordination to lead and develop our Project Coordination team.
This role is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of post-sale project workflows, ensuring seamless coordination between sales, project management, installers, and third-party vendors. The Manager will balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on coordination work—driving process standardization, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality.
This position plays a critical role in enhancing cross-functional collaboration, supporting company growth, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

For more than 50 years, KOMPAN has researched, designed, and built innovative and imaginative commercial playground equipment and outdoor fitness sites that captivate all ages and abilities.
In collaboration with our global headquarters in Denmark, KOMPAN designs, manufactures, and installs more than 1,000 sites a month across more than 90 different countries. Our North American headquarters, located in Austin, Texas, supports field sales around the U.S. and Canada.

What You’ll Do
· Lead, develop, and support the Project Coordination team through coaching, mentoring, and regular 1:1s
· Manage hiring, onboarding, and training programs to build a high-performing team
· Foster a collaborative, accountable, and performance-driven team culture
· Set clear expectations, prioritize workloads, and ensure team capacity aligns with demand
· Develop, document, and implement standardized processes and procedures across regions
· Ensure adherence to company workflows and eliminate inconsistencies or inefficiencies
· Partner with internal departments (Project Support, Accounting, Sales) to optimize workflows
· Champion process improvements and support adoption of new systems and tools
· Oversee project lifecycle execution using KOMPAN’s project management systems
· Ensure accurate project handoffs from sales and design teams
· Coordinate installation timelines, subcontractors, and third-party vendors
· Review project documentation, purchase orders, and change orders for accuracy
· Troubleshoot site issues and minimize cost impacts or delays
What You’ll Need
· 5+ years of leadership or team management experience
· Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Proven ability to problem-solve and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
· Experience in construction, playground, or site development industries
· Familiarity with project management systems or ERP tools
· Experience coordinating subcontractors and third-party vendors
· Strong process improvement mindset with experience standardizing workflows
· Knowledge of installation coordination, procurement processes, or contract management
