Inside Sales - Inspection & Maintenance
Do you excel at coordinating quotes, repairs, and customer care? Join our Inside Sales team to support our continued.
You will assist with the quoting, delivery, and customer communication relating to works carried out by our field-based inspectors and engineers and subcontractors across the country.
· Assist with day-to-day tasks relating to providing our customer quotes following inspections by Kompan engineers as well as maintenance query support directly from our customers. This will include regular preparation for customer calls and reports.
· Support in quoting for repair and refurbishment work carried out by our field-based engineers, following inspection visits and general enquiries. This will also require engagement with our subcontractor network to obtain quotes to support our own quote process.
· To assist the accounts team with any invoice issues linked to the inspection and maintenance work.
· Working simultaneously on multiple projects, balancing workload, and communicating when support is needed to ensure deadlines are met.
· To assist in the development of systems and processes to improve the efficiency of the Inside Sales department.
· Investigating and helping to resolve customer complaints and enquiries regarding repair and refurbishment projects.
· Ensure the systems used by the Inside Sales team are kept clean and the data is accurate and up to date. As reports are collected from our systems by your line manager and external head office colleagues, this is an essential part of your role.
· Liaising with internal colleagues and external clients is required on a regular basis.
To be successful in this role you must demonstrate the following
· Possess commercial acumen, focusing on customer needs and outcomes.
· An understanding of profit and gross margin and the ability to track this across multiple areas of the department.
· Displays a collaborative approach, actively seeking input from colleagues and third parties and working collaboratively across departments and with customers.
· Proven capability of multi-tasking and working to multiple fixed deadlines
· Ensuring great customer care and project continuity
· Good geographical knowledge and use of planning tools.
· Experience in Word, Excel, Microsoft Suite, and an ERP system
· Experience of working within a construction, maintenance or service engineers’ business maybe an advantage, but training will be given to the right candidate

· A team player with strong organisational skills, able to collaborate well with others
· Able to work autonomously, proactively managing personal workload
· A natural multi-tasker, able to track and manage multiple projects concurrently
· Strong written & verbal communication skills – the use of a telephone to contact external customers and subcontractors will be important in keeping momentum in timely quote production
· Trustworthy and takes responsibility for managing deadlines, planning tasks for self, seeking input from others, checking details, and raising anomalies.
· Structured and accurate, especially with data input skills, excellent attention to detail vital
· Able to learn quickly ‘on the job’ to comprehend and adjust to new and updated information
· A positive ‘can-do’ problem solving attitude
· A professional commitment to excellent customer service
